A Reflection on Higher Education in Texas

When I began to consider my options for higher education in the spring of 2023, I knew that I wanted to stay close to home. I had grown up in Texas and I was very familiar with the culture and the people. I had heard of the many great universities that the state had to offer, and I wanted to explore all my possibilities. After a lot of research and thought, I decided that Texas A&M University was the school that I wanted to attend. In this article, I will reflect on why I chose to apply to Texas A&M.
